About
My name is Jordan Memari and I am a freelance web designer, illustrator &
marketeer. I was born in the sunny Newcastle in the North-East of England and
moved to Portsmouth, Hampshire in 1996.
I have been working as a part-time freelance illustrator and designer for around
8 years (alongside studying and working full-time). I graduated with a
BA Marketing (Hons) degree in 2008 from the University of Portsmouth and
started working for a local design agency. 6 months in and I was moved up to the
holding company designing and branding any new sites/products the company
developed.
In March 2009 I joined Estee Lauder Companies, working as brand
gaurdian on the UK Estee Lauder website and later moving onto the UK
MAC Cosmetics website.
In November 2010, armed with a good few years experience, my Macbook
and graphics tablet, I took the plunge into full-time freelance and now my trusty
Lhasapoo Ralphy & I, design websites, print artwork and create
illustrations for a wide range of clients.
